摩托罗拉撤消起诉印度电信运营商

　　Motorola will drop a court case charging an Indianstate-runtelecommunications company with unfairly disqualifying itfrombidding on a large contract, the company said Monday.

　　In Novr, the Delhi High Court temporarily stopped IndiasBSNLLtd. from awarding an estimated $5 billion contract to layphonelines and supply advanced telephone equipment, after theU.S.telecom equipment maker filed a complaint.

　　Schaumburg, Ill.-based Motorola was disqualified from thebiddingprocess on technical grounds, while Sweden-based EricssonABemerged as a favorite.

　　“Withdrawal of the case by Motorola in no way reflects anychangein Motorolas original position that its bid was incompliance withthe tender conditions,” the company said in astatement.

　　摩托罗拉公司周一表示，公司已经决定撤消对印度国营电信运营商ＢＳＮＬ公司的诉讼。

　　去年11月，由于摩托罗拉提起诉讼，德里高等法院要求ＢＳＮＬ暂时不要确定这一约50亿美元合同的中标方，要等到案子听证之后。

　　摩托罗拉已经丧失了竞购ＢＳＮＬ项目的资格，其他投标方还包括诺基亚、爱立信、西门子和中国的中兴公司。摩托罗拉在一份声明中说：“摩托罗拉的撤诉并不表明公司原先立场的任何改变，公司投标完全符合（ＢＳＮＬ）的要求。”
