中美举行第三轮海洋法和极地事务对话

　　为落实最近举行的第四轮中美战略与经济对话框架下的战略对话成果，5月22日和23日，中国政府和美国政府有关专家在北京举行了第三轮中美海洋法和极地事务对话。双方就国际海事组织和南极条约协商会议等各种多边论坛正在审议的海洋法、海洋和极地问题进行了广泛、深入和建设性交流，取得丰富成果。

　　As called for in the recent outcome document of the strategic track of the fourth U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue, on May 22 and 23 in Beijing, relevant experts from the United States and Chinese governments held the third round of the U.S.-China Dialogue on the Law of the Sea and Polar Issues. The discussions focused on a wide array of law of the sea, oceans, and polar issues that are currently under discussion in various multilateral fora, including the International Maritime Organization and Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting. The discussions were informative and productive.
