From 3-5 November, Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) Ningbo Branch 2024 Retail Talent and Retail Management Training Programme was successfully held at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). This training programme brought together the strong faculty from Nottingham University Business School China and aimed to enhance the comprehensive and professional abilities of ABC's retail business talents through systematic and high-quality training courses.

本次培训内容全面且深入，涵盖人工智能与金融行业的数字化转型、924 新政后的投资策略、养老金融、代发留金、个人客户数字化经营新工具新应用等多个方面。培训结合农业银行实际业务场景，通过案例教学、问答研讨等方式，让学员在理论学习的基础上能够深入思考和应用所学内容。
在开班仪式上，诺丁汉大学商学院（中国）党委书记毕晓刚博士表示，商学院一直以来致力于凭借高水平的教学与科研力量服务社会经济发展，尤其在金融领域拥有丰富的教育资源和实践经验。此次培训班的开设，不仅是农业银行培养优秀零售业务人才的重要举措，也是商学院服务行业、推动知识与技能转化的具体体现。

UNNC assists ABC in cultivating retail business talents
From 3-5 November, Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) Ningbo Branch 2024 Retail Talent and Retail Management Training Programme was successfully held at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). This training programme brought together the strong faculty from Nottingham University Business School China and aimed to enhance the comprehensive and professional abilities of ABC's retail business talents through systematic and high-quality training courses.
The training content was comprehensive and in-depth, covering multiple aspects such as AI and the digital transformation of the financial industry, investment strategies after the 924 policy, pension finance, and new digital tools and applications for individual customer management. The training combined with the actual business scenarios of ABC, and through case studies, Q&A discussions, and other methods, enabled the participants to reflect on and apply the theoretical knowledge they learned.
During the opening ceremony, Dr Xiaogang Bi, the Secretary of the Party committee at the Business School, emphasized the school's commitment to serving social and economic development through high-level teaching and research strength. With a rich collection of educational resources and practical experience, the Business School has particularly excelled in the field of finance. The launch of this training programme signifies not only an important measure taken by ABC to train exceptional retail business talents, but also a concrete manifestation of the Business School's goal to serve the industry and promote knowledge exchange.
Mr Baifeng Zou, Deputy General Manager of the Personal Financing Department, ABC Ningbo Branch, began by expressing his gratitude to the Business School for their efforts to this training. He then emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction in the development of retail business, and highlighted the new requirements for talent team construction, which includes enhancing the political quality of personnel, and improving their business professional abilities, and practical skills.
As an important part of UNNC, the Business School has forged close relationships with industry leaders and has been actively exploring the talent needs and management strategies of large enterprises. To date, the Business School has established partnerships with several Fortune 500 companies, empowering them to cultivate top-tier talent and develop internationally. These include well-known Chinese central state-owned enterprises such as CRRC, state-owned enterprises such as Zhejiang Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd., state-owned banks such as Bank of China, China Construction Bank, and Agricultural Bank of China, and foreign enterprises such as Samsonite China and BorgWarner.
