Cairo ICT for 25 years has paved the way for digital
transformation, being a regional leader in technology
convergence, across Middle East and Africa.
The 2022 slogan “Leading Change” reflects the role of
Cairo ICT in providing the change in technology concepts and
their application, government role to embrace the change
and technology providers in making it happen.
If we try to name technology giants that contributed to this
vision along a quarter of a century, the list will be endless; if
we try to count the endless initiatives launched in Cairo ICT
for many years, the list will be long.
But looking at state commitment, President Abdel Fattah Al
Sisi, inaugurated and attended all Cairo ICT since 2015 topresent. The presence of H.E. the President and global leaders
as well as members of the Egyptian Cabinet at every round
expressed the commitment and accordingly the change that
happened in recent years.
