By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to the Official Rules listed below.

Terms:

-The 2015 China’s First UAV Photography Contest begins 30/07/15 and ends 09/10/15

-Winners will be announced before 01/11/15

-The award ceremony will be held on 19/11/15 in Shenzhenalong with the international drone conference and exposition held by Shenzhen Municipal Government.

How to enter:

-Kindly email your entries over to uav@sohu-inc.com including your personal contact information (name, nationality, address)

-You can submit your work in both photo and video format.

-There is no limit on the number of entries per person.

Rules:

-Photographs must be taken with a drone.

-The photo caption must be complete and accurate, sufficient to convey the circumstances in which the photograph was taken.

-Each entry must be 5MB or smaller, and it must be in JPG format.

-Only minor burning, dodging and/or colour correction is acceptable, as is cropping. Any changes to the original Photograph not itemised here are unacceptable and will render the photograph void.

-Watermarks are not acceptable.

-Entries may not previously have won an award in any types of photo contest and do not constitute copyright infringement or fraud.

Contest Prizes:

The contest will feature one first prize winner, one second prize winner, and one third prize winner in Overseas Participants Group. Winners will be invited to attend award ceremony held on Nov. 19, 2015 in Shenzhen. Awards include one UAV Trip in China including visiting drone companies like DJ-Innovations as well as attending the international drone conference and exposition held by Shenzhen Municipal Government. Additionally, finalists in the last round will also be awarded a MYSTERIOUS PRIZE.

Judging:

-The contest consists of three rounds.

-In Round One(09/10/15 - 15/10/15)around 200 entries will be selected for the next round evaluation from among all eligible entries based on advices from judging panel and organising committee as well as amounts of “likes” on contest webpage. The entries selected in Round One will proceed to Round Two.

-In Round Two (15/10/15 - 01/11/15) for the national group, in Photo Category, the judges will collectively select the first, second and third winners in the categories of Nature, Place and Drone Selfie. In the Video Category, the judges will also select the first, second and third place winners, all types of video styles can be selected. Overseas group doesn’t set the categories for entries. Judges will select first, second and third place winners and three most-liked prize winners from all entries.

-In Round Three (01/11/15 - 15/11/15) winners will be notified by email and invitation will be sent from the organizing committee.

Entrants’ Rights:

Although entrants retain the copyright and other equivalent rights to their entries, the organiser retains the rights listed below under “Organiser’s Rights”.

Organiser’s Rights:

-The organiser reserves the right to publish all entries on its website.

-By entering the Contest, all entrants grant an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide non-exclusive license to the organiser and its affiliates and subsidiaries, to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of the entries in any media now or hereafter.

-The organiser reserves the right to display the names of the winners and the titles of the winning entries on its websites, exhibitions and in other locations where the works are shown.

-Entries that in the judgment of the organiser do not conform to the entry requirements will be disqualified. Entrants will not be notified in this event. In the event that a winner is disqualified after a prize is awarded, the award may be revoked and the entrant requested to return the prize.

-The terms and conditions of entry shall be construed in accordance with the laws of China. Any disputes between entrants and the organiser shall be referred to the district court of where the organiser is located.
