　　2005年12月19日下午2时左右，云南昆明，一名男子与在云南省第一人民医院上班的女友发生感情纠纷，用匕首顶在女友脖子上劫持为人质，并将其拖到距该医院100米远的金碧路中央与警察对峙。大批警察花了近一个小时的时间成功制服凶徒，安全解救出人质。

　　A man took his girlfriend as a hostage at about 2 p.m. on Dec. 19, 2005 in Kunming, Yunan Province. The man had disputes with her girlfriend who was working in the Yunnan Provincial No. 1 People's Hospital. He put a knife on his girlfriend's neck, dragged her to the middle of a street, about 100 meters away from the hospital and confronted the police. The police spent about one hour bringing the man into control and freeing the hostage.
