  The Globe Magazine, a biweekly launched in 1980 by Xinhua News Agency, has gained a lot of prestige and become the leading news magazine on international events in China.

 

In the year of 2008, popularity of the Globe Magazine ranks 1st among all news magazines in China, according to a nationwide investigation on readership conducted by CTR.
