新长城国际义工管理办法（试行）

　　The management of the International Volunteer Project (Draft)

　　为了有效、有序地动员社会各界人士参与教育扶贫行动，促进新长城项目的发展，配合新长城项目ICIT计划，新长城项目办公室特发起“新长城国际义工”行动。

　　In order to encourage people in all fields to take part in the education poverty alleviation project and accelerate the development and to assist the ICIT project, the New Great Wall project office initiates the International volunteer program.

　　以自强社为平台，帮助贫困大学生提高综合能力

　　Help those university students from impoverished families improve their abilities by the “Self-improvement Leagues”

　　1、提高英语沟通能力。

　　Improve communicating abilities of English

　　2、培养商业技能。

　　Cultivate commercial skills

　　3、协助贫困大学生做职业规划。

　　Assist the poor university students with the plan for their careers

　　其它工作内容

　　Other working Contents

　　1、协助新长城高校自强社的建设和发展。

　　To assist the development of Self-improvement Leagues of “The New Great Wall” Program in universities

　　2、为新长城高校自强社寻找参观、实习的机会，邀请成功人士到学校演讲.

　　Help the Self-improvement Leagues find opportunities of internship and visiting

　　Invite the successful people in all fields to deliver lectures on campus.

　　3、协助新长城成才支持工作，促进新长城成才基地的发展。

　　To assist the improving yourself program of “the New Great Wall” project, and to accelerate the development of the base of the program

　　4、协助新长城筹集资助资金和成才基金。

　　To assist “the New Great Wall” project to finance for the Self-eduncation fund

　　5、宣传新长城项目，传播基金会、新长城理念。

　　To publicize “The New Great Wall Project”, and to disseminate the ideas of the Fund and the project

　　二、工作时间和地点

　　Timetable and work place.

　　国际义工的工作时间由各小组自由安排，建议2周进行一次活动。

　　The timetable of international volunteers is arranged by the team.( suggested: once in two weeks).

　　国际义工工作地点在各小组对应的高校(北京)。

　　The work place for international volunteers are the universities appointed（Beijing）.

　　三、活动组织形式

　　The form of the activities

　　活动组织以小组的形式进行，即每5人组成一个小组，每个小组帮助一个新长城高校自强社。

　　Groups organize activities. Every group is made up of 5 people. Every group is appointed to one Self-improvement League.

　　每个小组推选一名联络人，负责与新长城项目办公室、高校自强社、本组组员的联络以及活动的策划、组织。

　　One contact person of every group takes charge of contacting with the office of the New Great Wall project, the Self-improvement Leagues, team members and planning and organizing activities.

　　四、开展活动注意事项

　　Notice

　　1、到学校开展活动需与自强社相关负责人做好协调工作。

　　Communicate with the leaders of Self-improvement League to organize activities in universities

　　2、不开展与宗教有关的活动。

　　Don’t organize any activities related to religion

　　3、活动内容要符合新长城项目理念。

　　All activities should be in accord with the ideas of “The New Great Project”

　　第二部分 国际义工的管理

　　Chapter2. The management of international volunteers

　　五、国际义工的基本条件

　　The basic requirements for international volunteers

　　1、有扶贫济困之爱心，对基金会的性质、新长城理念比较认同。

　　Do care about the poor and agree with the ideas of the Found and The New Great Wall Project

　　2、志愿提供服务，并能保证一定的服务时间（每月至少可以参加一次义工活动活动时间不低于3小时）。

　　Fell free to offer service and can offer a certain amount of time (to take part in one activity at least once a month, with a minimum 3 hours)

　　3、具有一定的国际背景，

　　Have some international background

　　4、具备相应的知识和服务技能。

　　Possess the knowledge and skills for service

　　5、具有有效身份证明。

　　Have valid proof of identity

　　六、国际义工的申请、注册、工作、取消

　　Application, Registration, Work, Annulment of International volunteer identity

　　国际义工向新长城提交申请，报基金会通过方可成为正式新长城国际义工。申请需填写《新长城国际义工申请表》并递交个人简历和身份证明。

　　Apply to The New Great Wall Project by filling the application form and résumé and identification verification

　　新长城国际义工需每年到新长城办公室进行注册并填写《新长城国际义工年度注册表》。

　　Fill the registration form at The New Great Wall Project office every year

　　正式义工根据个人意愿由新长城项目办公室进行分组，每5人一组，每组推选一名联络人，并为每组确定一所高校自强社作为工作对象。

　　To be grouped of one's own accord, 5 people in each group, and one contact person in each group. Each group will be appointed to one self-improvement league.

　　对有以下行为的国际义工新长城办公室将予以取消：

　　The New Great Wall Project will annul the identification of the volunteer if any behavior happened as below

　　1、没有按规定的时间进行年度注册。

　　Do not register on time.

　　2、在活动中没有遵守国际义工注意事项。

　　Disobey the notice.

　　3、参加义工时间一年累计不足15小时。

　　The time of service is less than 15 hours a year.

　　七、国际义工的管理

　　The management of volunteers

　　新长城国际义工的管理机构为中国扶贫基金会新长城项目办公室。新长城项目办公室负责国际义工招募计划的制定，招募活动的组织实施，主持义工的培训，协调对义工的管理和使用，进行表彰等。

　　The management organization of The New Great Wall Project international volunteers is the New Great Wall Project office of China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. The New Great Wall Project office takes charge of the international volunteers recruitment, international volunteer training, harmonizing the volunteers’ activities, and commendation.

　　新长城国际义工团队设立总联络人1-2人，总联络人由为新长城国际义工的发展做出重大贡献的人士担任，负责国际义工团队的总协调并推动新长城国际义工事业的发展。总联络人与各小组联络人定期召开联络人会议制定并落实相关义工活动计划。

　　One or two people who contribute a lot to the development of The New Great Wall Project will be picked up as chief contact men. They will take charge of the co ordinations and acceleration of the project. The chief contact men should contact with the contact men of each group to fulfill the plan of activities.

　　新长城项目办公室每2个月召开一次联络人会议，每年召开两次国际义工全体会议。

　　The office will hold conference of contact persons every 2 months and the conference of all the staff twice every year.

　　八、其它

　　Others

　　新长城的重大活动都将邀请国际义工的参加，作为对国际义工的肯定和表彰。

　　We will invite the international volunteers to take part in all the important activities of our office，as the commendation of the excellent ones.

　　1、新长城项目办公室将发给国际义工服务证章，用于服务时佩带。

　　The office will offer the international volunteer cards and badges

　　2、不经本人同意，中国扶贫基金会不得泄露国际义工的信息，国际义工的个人信息有变动应及时通知中国扶贫基金会。

　　China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation won’t disclose any information of international volunteers. The volunteers should inform the foundation if any personal information is altered.
