A diplomat from the Polish Embassy in Beijing visited the No 1Elementary School attached to the Xuanwu District Normal College on Friday to kick off the Heart－to－HeartPartnership Program，an opponent of Olympic education program of the Beijing Olympic Games.Counselor Janusz Tatera and wife attended a class of Polish knowledge where pupils sang folk rhythms with themesranging from Polandshis－tory to culture and sport.The rhythms depicted students friendship to Polish children，their wishes to establish links with their counterparts to exchange and promote knowledge about their respective countries.The event wasbelieved to be the first of its kind since the launch of the partnership program on Decr17lastyear，which marked the 600－day－countdown to the opening of the Beijing Olympic Games.
