Agathe （德国） I am a German and have been a mr of the German-ChineseFriendshipassociation since the late Seventies. I have 2sponsorships forchinese pupils in Shanghai and Shandong andnaturally I donated to2 funds in Germany who will support thevictims in China (Oxfam andCaritas international) I know that theGerman Red Cross will besending a coplete mobile hospital toSichuan which can treat 30patients in beds and tenhousends of otherpatients. Many newspapersgive reports on the earthquake and publishadresses wwhere peoplecan make a donation for china. So pleasebelieve me: you have manyfriends in Germany and I am sure expats inChina will donate too orhelp in other ways. What counts isfriendship between many peoplein Germany and China.

中国人民有很多德国朋友 我是德国人，从上世纪70年代起，就是德中友好协会的成员。我参加了两个资助项目，帮助上海和山东的一些学生；给两个德国基金会（牛津饥荒救济委员会和国际慈善社）捐款帮助中国灾民。我知道德国红十字会将派一个有30个床位的移动医院援助四川，帮助很多伤员。许多报纸都报道了这次地震，并公布了向中国捐款的地址。所以请相信我，你们有很多德国朋友。而且我相信在中国的德国公民也会捐款，或用其它方式援助灾区。德中两国人民的友谊是珍贵的。

Canada should do more to help aid the people in Si ChuanChina.Send special teams to China who are specialist inemergencysituations. Make a public address of support. Donatespecialequipment to the area. Donate more funds. More needs tobedone.
