　　内容简介：影片的主人公达拉和丈夫拉德·米切维克居住在本科瓦克附近。那是克罗地亚一个典型的岩石地区，而他们则是生存在那里的最后一批当地人。拉德以老式的雕刻手艺为生，达拉则在草原上放牧羊群。虽然羊群随时都会遭到饿狼的攻击，但是达拉有自己一套独特的牧羊和带领牧羊狗的方式。通过观察牧羊狗的动静，她知道狼群正在逼近，于是及时将羊群赶到安全的地方，这项工作一点也不简单。影片跟随着达拉一起去寻找一只失落的绵羊。她小心翼翼地追踪所有和这只丢失的羊有关的蛛丝马迹，甚至不惜牺牲做家务的时间。人类的存在在这部诗情画意般的纪录片中显得如此独特和不可思议……

　　导演简介：布兰科·伊斯凡契奇1967年出生于南斯拉夫的苏博蒂察，1999年毕业于克罗地亚首都萨格勒布的戏剧艺术学院影视导演专业。自从15岁那年制作了个人首部业余纪录片以来，布兰科一直投身于纪录片的创作，并且获得许多克罗地亚和国际奖项，包括克罗地亚短片和纪录片电影节大奖，以及奥克塔维詹奖和兹拉那尤加尼卡奖。布兰科是克罗地亚最杰出的中青年纪录片制作人之一。在牢牢地扎根于克罗地亚纪录片传统的基础上，他特别关注人文问题，并且擅长将主题幽默化和升华。2003年制作的“挖井工”是他一部近期成功作品，该片是他个人风格的延续，在将一个挖井工平凡的故事上升为一个共通隐喻的同时，又摈弃了许多克罗地亚纪录片矫揉造作的风格。他制作的影片“贪婪的稻草人”（1998）被影评家们一致认为是九十年代克罗地亚最佳纪录片。布兰科还是克罗地亚电影导演协会的会员。

　　Brief Synopsis：The main protagonist, Dara, lives with her husband, Rade Mitrovic, in the vicinity of Benkovac, an area of typical Croatian rocky ground. They are the last authentic people of the area. He carves in the old-fashioned way, while she takes her flock of sheep and goats to graze in a pasture at the time when there is possibility of her flock being attacked by hungry wolves. She is very skilled in leading the flock, her dogs, in a special way. By the dog’s behavior she knows that wolves are approaching and it enables her to save the flock, which is far from an easy task. This film follows the main protagonist''s efforts to track down a lost sheep. She does this with careful investigation of all the relevant tracks of the lost sheep and despite sacrificing the time to do her household chores. This poetical documentary makes human existence uniquely miraculous…

　　C.V. of Director(s)：Branko Istvancic was born in Subotica, in 1967. Graduated film and TV direction in 1999 at Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb capital of Croatia. Making his first, amateur, documentary films at 15, he has continuously been involved with documentary films and has received Croatian as well as international rewards for his work - The Grand Prix at Croatian Short and Documentary Film Festival, “Oktavijan” and “Zlatna Uljanica” being among them. He is one of the most significant authors of the young/middle generation of Croatian documentarists. Deeply enrooted in the Croatian documentary tradition, he pays special attention to the humane, but also humoristic, treatment of his subjects. His last successfully documentary film, Wellman / Bunarman (2003), continues this tradition, and elevates the simple story about a well digger to a level of the universal metaphor, but without the pretentious nature of many Croatian documentaries. The critics consider his film The Cormorant Scarecrow / Plasitelj Kormorana (1998) to be one of the best Croatian documentaries of the nineties. Member of Croatian Film Director’s Guild.
