　　Brief Synopsis: IN an Amsterdam women’s house Mirella, Sylvia and Johanna are sitting together. They have fled from their violent partners. In an effort to restructure their lives and to understand what has happened, they talk, scold, laugh and-most of all-they telephone a great deal.

　　Although they try to build a new life and although they already dream of a new love to come, the young women cannot just let go of the man they ran from. In spite of the fights and the abuse they had to endure, they find it difficult to break up completely with their exes. The quarrels and the rows are carried on by telephone, quarrels about the past, a bout debts and about the children.

　　Without comment, the film observes the bickering and squabbling as well as the mutual support the women give each other while talking about their doubts, their uncertainties and their dreams for the future. A stay of several months in a women’s house enabled the makers to sketch a unique and intimate picture of the daily life of the three women, the tears, the gossip, the hilarious moments and the dramas succeeding each other in a brisk tempo.

Since 1980 he has worked as a cameraman on many documentaries, television dramas and dance productions.
